First the East Coast got nailed with a couple back to back and then Chicago got its third worst Blizzard with 20.2" Official snowfall count.

Must be the Global Warming again.

It is global warming and it is part of the "reset"

When the temperatures *finally* exceed the safe maximum, we cool all at once in a series of massive storms that will reset our thermostat (again)
- ice age anyone?

And it appears you have a *series* of storm going. We in SoCal just got the tail-end of a big arctic blast - temps dropped into the 20s and we had 2 days of wind
- it's heading East
:(

Another bright side is that the Chicagoans were forced to a vacation. Americans are so damn busy with their businesses nowadays (the corporate businesses), it's about time they have a vacation. I bet most of those "slave" low-wage laborers appreciated it anyways.

Sounds like you know the area.

Nope if you didn't work you didn't get paid or had to use vacation time if had it accrued.
