My own personal issue is the way that Focus Group has been handled in the past by NVIDIA; that it does not enjoy a good reputation. They were mostly known for being very one-sided (which is "entry" into the Group; you got to like NVIDIA) and not terribly critical of their sponsors. They are perceived as doing "marketing" for NVIDIA - and imo it IS a matter of negative perception. NVIDIA is getting a backlash because of some of the sins of this program in its past and being associated with the decidedly non-transparent AEG.
However, imo it is unfair to ask Keysplayr to quit Focus Group. He *loves* NVIDIA and always has and he would not be one whit different if he were not in that group. As far as i can see, he is true to himself and has not compromised his personal integrity. As to modding video that is between him and the forum administration over there. And i can guarantee that they do not like controversy and constant disputes in video. Overall, it loses membership.
Rollo was initially permabanned in February '06
Anandtech unbanned him January '08
I joined the Nvidia Focus Group in May of '08
Rollo was permabanned for the second time in February '09
These are exactly correct and does go to show how memory does fade over time.

There was no bad timing. You repeatedly stated that I became a member of the focus group on the EXACT same day Rollo was banned. First or second ban does not matter as it applies to neither.
To recap, and so you can retell this story many times over "correctly", I entered the focus group 4 months after Anandtech unbanned Rollo, and was a member of the group a full 9 months before Rollo's second banning.
You were so adament about this. Saying over and over again that I became a member the same day he was permabanned from AT. Where on earth did you get these memories from? If you were so innacurate about this, it is extremely possible everything you say gets twisted into something else over time.
I mean, why not? You did here and it was a doozy.
You can say all the nicest things in the world about me, Mark. Very nice statements above, but you don't mean them. It will not erase all the lies you tell on a daily basis. Only now it seems it may not be lies, but something very real in your own mind although most likely imagined.
