Hey everyone,

Just figured I'd introduce myself. I don't know a whole lot about computer parts ect. but I'm trying to learn more and this website seems to have a lot of really good information on it. I'm trying to learn more because I want to build a new computer this summer. I know how to put it together but when I built my last one my friend picked out all the parts for me ect. so I need to work on learning why one thing is better than another and about compatibility ect. Looking forward to getting to know the community.

Agreed. In the past, I've blogged about building budget gaming PCs. ($500ish) I may start it up again soon. I'm all too eager to answer questions about getting the most bang for your buck.

Mark gets his hardware free, so he's clueless. :P

That'd be an awesome blog! I'd like to see your previous work.. out of curiosity.

Greetings Azena.

Disregard my last post. I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed that day.

That's pretty funny.

(not)

Actually, i have run "value" series articles before. However, if you want to start up your building a budget gaming PC blog, we might consider hosting it for you.

Only joking! (Hence the "raspberry" smiley.) This is just about the only review site I refer friends to. I think much of the advice here is pretty sound, even if I do get into back-and-forths about value.

If I ever do write up something worth hosting, I'll definitely give you a holler. I'm full of ideas but short on time!
