I admire programmers. It is truly an art form.
You can have completely two sets of different code do the same thing.
There is no defined right way of doing things except if you get a wrong or bad result.
I started down the hardware path and of course you need firmware and software to co-exist with hardware so I have interacted with programmers through the years. Since I have gotten away from making hardware since 1998 I have been more into the programming side of things.
I still cannot make a program from scratch but I either fix or tweak existing code especially when problems arise and the real programmers get stuck. I have been either able to make the fix myself or help get the programmers in the right direction to make the fix.
