. . . for a small forum .. but what do i know?

my MB just melted down .. dead .. i get another one to replace it this week as i cannot wait to finish my q9550 vs e8600 reviews .. an ASUS Rampage to replace my P5e deluxe
[open box from NewEgg .. i was unlucky when the BIOS froze tonight
.. i feel lucky now :D ]

Well, I agree with you apoppin. I think that creating threads is really the fun part about being a member of a forum. IMO having the news guy post a few major stories is fine, but the forum is getting too cluttered, and it creates a strange empty feeling when all the threads are created by the same guy. It gives the false impression that he's the only "regular" here.

well, we are starting a contest shortly .. i actually got what we are going to do
- so i expect rapid forum growth .. and MrK's news will not be so prominent - or really noticed .. and will probably end.

what is SO cool at ABT is that we as editors and staff do not always agree; yet we agree to try different things . . . this one will probably be seamlessly superseded by our members posting; it is confined only to "news" .. certainly by Summer these posts will probably go into a catch all tech latest "news page" instead of on the forum and the members can link from there .. the way that seems more natural to me also
