Does anyone want to see a couple of Kingston HyperX SSDs evaluated.

i was originally waiting for Ivy Bridge and the USB 3.0 native MB. However, i already did a USB 2.0 Kingston VNow100 series review and i can buy a PCIe USB 3.0 add-in card and can compare 3 SSDs to HDD.

What do you think?

Is there a big block of white spaces between the warranty info and price info?

Only in the way the forum software publishes a WordPress post; all of ABT's news and articles are also published on the forum. No all of the formatting is preserved intact. For example, the Google ad does not show up on the forum articles.

It looks fine on the main site

Shall i ask for a review sample of this SSD.

That would give me 3 SSDs to compare to a HDD
:)

Yup that would be great. But i think u should publish the review along with IB.If memory serves me correctly all z77 chipsets have native usb 3.0 support so u don't have to buy an extra add-in card.

Well, i was thinking that if Kingston sent me a new HyperX 3K drive, i would get started on it as soon as i finish benching for Part 3 of the GTX vs HD 7970, 2GB vs. 3GB memory face-off

The PCIe cards using the 1x or 4x PCIe slots are no disadvantage over native USB 3.0 support except that there will be no "caching", i already have a z68MB that is PCIe 3.0 with a IB CPU and a BIOS update also.
-- i also have FX-8150/AM3+ with native USB 3.0 support; but no one appears interested in that platform :P

But if i am going to do the review next week, i will need to buy an inexpensive add-in USB 3.0 card. i doubt that Kingston wants to wait a month. AND in a month, i can compare the old platform vs the newer.

Don't knock it. It is dual-purpose. At 4.6GHz, FX 8150 is nearly as fast as my overclocked i7-920 at 4GHz (in gaming)

AND ... it keeps me warm in Winter
