Very nice review! Looks like I'm going to get a nice boost going from my 470 to the 670

I could put $111 in your account today if you want to grab one :)

I'm waiting 'till June and I have to install the 670 first. But I'll be sure and let you know when that happens via PM.
You're first in line. Like I said, depending on 470sc prices at that time, I might lower the $111. price by then for you.

Mark a very good job on the review.I have a little concern about the power draw charts,u said the 7970 is not overvolted are u sure? The difference is huge.

It is from the first review where it is overclocked to the absolute max but without a voltage increase.

Remember from my first review, where only a small overvolt made any difference to stability. After a point, the voltage would go up, but not the performance

Here is the HD 7970 now correctly pictured as overclocked but not overvolted
Image
i expect the voltage to drop significantly with the respin, but then the overclock will again take it sky high if they try to match Kepler's overclocked and overvolted cards.

EDIT ... now that i am looking at them, i have the wrong one (formerly; now fixed) pictured

Off to fix it
thanks!!
:hello:

FIXED and this post edited to show the correct image. 463W vs 276w

Can't, or I would... I already have four, but for $111 I'll take five! :D

It's still Nehalem /w 7970 vs Ivy Bridge /w 670 though isn't it?
