No no no Someone goofed and sent me a card a week early - and they told me my review was due a week early also; when i attempted to confirm it because it made no sense whatsoever, the error (or sloppiness) was discovered and i am sure someone got chewed out for sending me the card early. i looked at my emails. i can see where there was confusion that never got clarified. So i have the dirt on a card no tech site is supposed to have yet. Including the latest unreleased drivers Holly sh!ps!!!! Whats goin on??? a secret card no tech site is supposed to know about???? you guyz remember what i said here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21797&start=130qoute "... the best i can see the there is a something brewing, I am not so sure you will have disappointment but rather a few surprises......" are you sure your the only one? edit: well maybe the only reviewer.......

Nothing like that. It's just that a partner sent out a card that wasn't supposed to go to the tech sites yet. - - - and i let the parent company know without knowing i wasn't supposed to have it. So i got a return label and sent it back today (before the hunters are sent out). And the *replacement* card got shipped today. So i will have the same card on Monday or Tuesday Should i act surprised?

nope. not you of all ppl. I actually am confused by a <something> i heard. i am waiting to see how all this plays out. Its something a little different....maybe later, or sooner, idk..... its hush hush.
see i got a surprise when the AMD bios switch came different on the 6970, it wasnt exactly right like it shouldve..... and then it was right on the 6990, but then again...you never know. Its confusing sometimes, i am sure things change. but lately they have been pretty erratic, its like last minute and no one knows whats goin on. Lots of ideas, half decisions, and lots of confusions. I know its not on purpose, its a little crazy. You prolly see that pretty clear, huh?
There is a shrinking graphics card business, two very powerful companies that are extremely capable, and billions to be made. Things may calm for a tiny bit, but there will be fierce competition in the future. Actually since the 4000 series launch, Its been pretty steadily exciting. I see that bar of excitement getting higher and higher.

Shrinking video card business? Nvidia should just start there own console business with tegra 5, 8 core cpu/gpu, and ship it with a mouse, keyboard and steam installed all running on a windows 9 operating system with IE 11 for internet. Done deal. I'd buy it.
