And yet i have seen differing results with other deliddiing. i am still not convinced; there needs to be more experiments with it. Extreme overclockers are getting 6GHz on LN2 and they are using intact Intel CPUs with Intel's TIM.

I'm not 100% convinced either but it could be real. Just like my 1240mhz 7850. It's real! :D

It isn't that i am doubting the results of the delidders., it is just one sample.

Is that your final OC and do you think it will hold up through Summer's heat?

I think it should be fine. It was actually very stable at 1250mhz and even 1260mhz. My temps are good; I'm topping out at 50C.

IMO 1.3v is not an extreme overvolt. Stock voltage is 1.21v; I haven't even raised it 10%. My temps are good. I'm not worried.

Dude ur temps are good because of the arctic cooler ;) I don't think none of us really know what is the max safe limit for 7850.Does 5% extra performance is worth borking a card?I always go for stability rather than some measly fps :P

I push my hardware to the limit. That said, I could run the card at 1300mhz if I really wanted to; I think 1240mhz is very reasonable on the core and lots of other people are doing the same thing.
