i'll open the package and begin benching tonight. i'll post pics. But now i am in the home stretch for the EVGA MB article. i added a bit on SLI and took a dozen more shots (since it is SO late, i expanded it a bit  ) Forget the GTX 660 Ti SLI followup. The card that runs hot, runs too hot and it isn't stable. Back to EVGA it goes. - i doubt i will get another  BUT, next up after the z77 MB evaluation will be the Sapphire card. Hopefully Friday. It's an inexpensive card, i guess. i will test it against the HD 7770 and what, the GTX 560 Ti on the highend and the 550 on the low end?

I wish you could test the GTX 460 1GB if you still had one, because it's probably one of the most popular cards around, by far.. going by the number of steam-surveyed owners.
It was really cool covering the GTX 280 in the recent 660 Ti review, but I think the 280 would be almost completely obsolete by the time Windows 8 is out with DX11.1.
GTX 460 1GB would be a very good "baseline" card to include in many reviews, as most other reviewers no longer include this card in their benchmarks. That alone could score many page hits from the really high numbers of owners of this super-popular card of 2011 that only HD 4870/4890 could have rivaled in terms of bang-4-buck, yet the HD 4xxx series are already "legacy-by-AMD" and obsolete while the GTX 460 seems to be much more future-proof with DX11 support and better driver support.

Well, i am going to test HD 7750 now. Would a GTX 460 even be a valid test? Since it is not in stock any longer At any rate, should i test the HD 7750 against a *stock* HD 7770 or against the Sapphire OCK GHz edition? -- or both? And i have a feeling that i better hurry with the benching (starting tonight!) .. don't you have a feeling that *another* mystery card may show up pretty soon?
