A black friday deal at Best Buy for only $109 (open box item)!!!

So far after using it for a couple days, it seems to be a great camera. I'm excited about the 3D capability of it but people are saying that it's not much of a 3D effect. But what I really love about it are the 1080p movie and panorama capabilities!! The movies look like blu-ray quality, literally!!!!!! It has this hand-jitter motion stabilizer that makes the videos much more tolerable even when zoomed in all the way.

What I wish it had though was the ability to ZOOM in while shooting panoramas! :banghead: The manhattan skyline was awesome during my stay for the Thanksgiving weekend but I wanted to zoom in for a up-close panorama sweep.

Do you guys want a review of it here on ABT? I'm not really sure if I have the time to do it this month.. been busy like an American idiot, but might try to do one even if there are already hundreds of reviews out there on the 'net.

Does it do 1080p at 30fps?

Yeah, can't remember if that means 1080i or 1080p, if it's 60i (interlaced).. I'm not sure. I see that 1440x1080 or 720p can be done at 30fps progressive.
Honestly, it looks just as good as blu-ray movies anyways. I can pause the video and it looks like a photo screenshot!
Sorry, I don't think I'll have time this month to do a review on it. Maybe next month.. my friend needs me to do a lot of stuff for him this week like sell his car, etc.. then we have to leave for the holidays.
Soon next year, Sony will be releasing DSC-WX10, and I wonder what the improvements would be? Touch screen? The ability to zoom in for panorama?
One feature I miss, though, is the ability to change flash levels from dim flash to normal to bright flash. I had two older Cybershots, one 3 MP, and the recent one 7MP. Both could do different flash levels, but the new one seems to have an automatic background "Slow-Synchro" flash.. I'll have to experiment with that more.
