i'll try to upload a few pics this afternoon

You know, we could use a TEAM of reporters to cover CES. i met with more than a dozen companies who would like us to review their products - and there are more i simply could not meet with.

Any tech writers out there? The pay is crap but the benefits are awesome
:)

And i need to talk to the Cooler Master rep. They should put out a Calender of the Cooler Master girls; they are that good looking! Outstanding.

Here is CM's limo for shuttling press and partners to and from their hotel

The girls of CES are nice dessert topics but the key is the "inside scoop" for me!

ii forgot how long it takes to write a CES article. i was what i thought was half done when i found my other SD card and about 80 decent photos

ANYWAY, i have LOTS of info and my fingers are slow in comparison (not to mention the pain in uploading to WordPress with a Satellite ISP - btw, this all changes in March when i get to evaluate ViaSat's superfast Satellite (12MB/s down and 3 up). So more likely tonight or tomorrow the article will be finished as i still have a couple of small evaluations to actually do in the article.
:hello:

What kind of pics do you want? Girls of CES? The Hardware? The cars? The inside scoop? i can link to many of my photos now that are going to be in the final CES article

Whoa.. looks like her nipple's about to show!

Are you really sure it's gonna be 12 MegaBYTES/s down and 3 up?? That's unheard of for satellite!!! :-O

LOL, all the letters are in capital!

It *has* to be 12Mbps down (which is really 1.5 MBps), LOL!!!

That's still pretty DAMN GOOD!!!!!! For satellite!!!!!!

Do you have to use a big dish for this? Or is the dish about the same size as the Dish Network would put on your roof?

Yes it would be 12Mb/s and it's starting to compete with cable. Currently i have 1.5Mb/s over WildBlue (which means D/Ls are around 200KB/s). What it means is that the new service will be a LOT faster for the same money. They also took my suggestion to copy HughesNet satellite and offer more GBs of bandwidth for sale instead of slowing your speeds down when you reach your cap (now 25GB/month for $129). That nasty practice infuriates current satellite users and i would have dumped WildBlue for HughesNet last year except for my discovery of their 24-hour a month undocumented and unmetered bandwidth period which saved me on many occasions when i needed to get a 15GB game, for example (with a cap of 17GB per month).

The dish is the same size as my current one and the Satellite modem looks the same on the outside.
--i should have it all set up for evaluation in early March when the new service rolls out in my area
:hello:

And i am *still* writing my CES article. It just seems like there is no end in sight. i am SO tempted to stop now, publish it and call it "Part 1" .. then i have to write my Thermaltake full tower case review and this week is devoted to Cases and Cooling at ABT with Tt coolers, watercooling and fans reviewed.
