Blackened just edited his post (before I could quote it), but the gist was that X98 is typical of fanboys from certain places, and that other fanboys act differently. The mods can see your edits Blackened23 and I hope you get perma-banned. What am I missing here bud, both quotes look the same?....

http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.ph ... tcount=805Quote: Now I need my cards to get here more than ever. Booted up my system before I went to pull the cards out to get them ready to sell - nasty burnt electronics smell fills the air, system shuts down.
Panic, check water loop for leaks - none. Start sniffing around and taking parts out, the stench is coming from my top slot 480. Disassemble it, VRM fried ? WTF?! lol.
Even on their way out my door the 480s are giving me headaches 'Get rid of me ? eff you! VRM asplode.'
Lucky my buyer didn't back out, but he haggled a $20 discount off the price of two because 'he was expecting all three' Now I have to RMA this fried one. Hopefully they send me a 580 as a replacement. and http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.ph ... tcount=809Quote: Quote: Oh snap. Sounds like one of those 480s came off the same assembly line as the GTX590s. Interesting how 1 of those 480s decided to crap out right at the 2-year mark -- imo too short of a warranty period for $500 cards.
Does that mean you have to sell the RMAed card to someone else then? I think there was a member on this forum who hasn't upgraded since he bought GeForce 3 Ti because he keeps waiting to see how newer cards will do in benchmarks....you should donate it to him! Not sure what I will do with the replacement. Was really happy to find one person who was interested in them all, rather than having to waste time on back and forth emails trying to get rid of them 1 by 1. If they send me a 580 back I will definitely keep it and put it in my wife's computer. If it's a 480, maybe I will raffle it off via the forums, more a curse to get it than a blessing imho

More likely this kind of guy: ---(caution it might be NSFW) The photochop is horrible.. the video card looks like it's floating about an inch off surface, and there are still white lines around the card itself which were not cropped off that neatly.
