sigh............... Welcome to the wonderful world of social networking. Where accountability means nothing to anyone. Maybe that's why it's so successful. Every person everyday, is under the gun to do the right thing or face the music. Stressful. Internet? not so much.

Look at this brain-damaged shill's post Quote: Every 7970 will hit 1125, some might not do it on stock voltage. Most reviewers don't adjust the voltage, and heck, a lot of them don't know how to overclock, period.

Not accountability .. that is for the corporation to be accountable for their marketing. For the internet and the individual the issue is *anonymity* - AMD allows/encourages their employees to post in social media with no restrictions whatever - their Edelman rep and former employee said, "we see their posts and we don't care"AMD needs to care. Their ethics are being called into question. They are the only major hardware company that does this. Not Nvidia, not Kingston and not Intel. Something is wrong. As far as we know, their marketing director and entire PR department can be posting on ATF VC&G and their newly appointed administrator Idontcare admitted he doesn't care. And now you know why he is administrator there.

Well, that is the original issue i had over at VC&G and it was easy to see the attacks are *coordinated* by the shills. Bringing it to AMD's attention - as i did not like my reviews being *falsely* attacked by their viral garbage - they don't care.
i think AMD needs to muzzle their viral garbage - and if they are employees - terminate them; no matter how far up in their organization. End their relationship with Edelman. Otherwise their PR has no credibility. Their corporate ethics are in question.

Why don't you shoot Rory Reid/Read/Reed (spelling?) an email? Can't hurt, right?

Why don't we finish this article and put it on the front page?
That will get their attention much better and get to the top much faster than going through their PR channels.

Right, some of them don't know how to overclock properly so that it can actually run all games 100% stable, not just one benchmark. Some games can run at 850 MHz on my GTX 460 1GB's no problem, while I have to reduce it to as low as 760MHz for a few of the strangely "sensitive" games. That's a huge difference. apoppin wrote: Why don't we finish this article and put it on the front page?
That will get their attention much better and get to the top much faster than going through their PR channels. That's very understandable.

Unless you have other information that you haven't made public before, I don't think it will much matter. If the front page article is just a rehash of everything discussed in this thread, then most people will just dismiss it as a "been there" or "done that" thing. So, your call of course basically. If there isn't anything new, or isn't anything to make someones head turn and catch their interest, then I wouldn't bother.

Perhaps then another kind of article entirely. One that examines the relationship of 4 major companies to social media.
All this forum article proves is that AMD allows their employees to post on the tech sites without disclosure and that it leads to abuse - like blacklisting ABT. These are facts. And then there is the documented stealth history of Edelman and David Makin who tried to make ABT a flog site for AMD.
Not very people have seen this forum article. Look at the number of views. If it went viral . . . who knows?
