This is weird. I just lost my Right mouse button and scroll wheel on my Logitech MX518. Everything else is fine
I thought it was just a bug and restarted, same thing though! Didn't have the problem this morning.

Any ideas?

Try it on your wife's PC. If it still doesn't work .. RMA or a new one

Check!
It's just strange....... Left my computer for a couple hours and now they won't work. Tried diff USB ports as well.

I'll post back with an update.
Update-- Installing the software that came with it. Never had to do this with anything except the old modems of '94.
I also emailed Logitech explaining the problem.

Ok, new software update installing. I got my right mouse button back, but still no scroll.

Very strange it happened like this. Never had to install the software that comes with a product. Printers are an exception to a point.

I installed that and updated to the newest version. No scroll still.
The MX518 I'm using now is a replacement of another 518 I had for about 4+ years, since it was under warranty.

On the one that died....... First the right mouse button died and then came back. Got sent this brand new one and used the old one for mths. That is, until the left button totally died.

Logitech responded this morning. Looks like I'm getting a new mouse.

You don't know how much the scroll wheel is needed, until you lose it (ROFLMAO)

Left mouse button out= Screwed!

It doesn't make sense that my right mouse button came back to life though. The ball mouses/meeses, lasted forever. All you had to do was clean the ball once in awhile.
You'd get that bit of lined up lint and clean it off....... Good to go.

Come to think of it, I don't think I ever had a ball mouse die on me.
