 Post subject: Is raid-0 useful with SSDs?

I know with regular hard drives it doesn't make much difference.

I'm wondering if I should get another Vertex 3 for raid-0.

i would use RAID only to double the capacity of a SSD by getting another cheap one :P

I'm just wishing I had bought another Vertex 3. They were $90 even before the rebate; I only got a single one because the rebate was only allowed on one drive.

I'm realizing now that $90 is still hot for a 120gb Vertex 3.

Anyhow, it's cloning now so I'll let you guys know what I think in a few minutes.

Wow, so the Vertex 3 is really fast. It's booting windows in about 3-5 seconds. It's at least twice as fast as my Vertex 2 according to Crystal Disk Mark.
