My dad needs a new laptop.......... Workstation, using Pro-Engineer.
Asking for suggestions on what would be decent.

I know it's going to cost 3.5k+
I offered to build him a pc, but he needs to be mobile.

Needs to have a damn good gfx card in there!

Are we talking Quadro?

Is he doing design on it? Or showing work to clients? If it's for designing, it will need to be non-TN, probably IPS screen of a very high resolution. i could have asked at the GTC for you but now, no idea. i would think you want to look at the professional notebooks; maybe Dell, HP,?
