Maya for 3D purposes not web related. You can use 3D contents in web only. Can not design whole system.

This is coming months late, but this caught my eye.

There's very few circumstances where I could imagine Maya being useful for web design. There's equally less use for any kind of 3D in a standard web application. You might get some use out of it for 3D graphic production, but that's rare too. Just look at the websites you visit, how many of them contain 3D graphics? Odds are any work involving some kind of 3D would be handled by a modeler directly, which would then be handed to a web designer.

Maya software is used to create 3D objects like buttons/text-box etc. It is very important software used now days. It provides the new variety to web developer now days. users also like the 3D objects mostly.So Maya software is important.
