Well, if you are using EVGA's tool and the Nvidia WHQL drivers don't support it, that will happen.
- there are other overclocking tools you could use, like RivaTuner that also need to be updated regularly - or you could just wait for EVGA's latest driver - or just do basic overclocking in the Nvidia CP with the WHQL drivers.
i would say if you have no issues with the games you are playing, use EVGA's latest.
