Just for you, Greg http://www.tweaktown.com/news/22058/ric ... index.htmlQuote: Richard Huddy, has moved onto Intel. His goal with the red team was to form stronger relations with the game developers themselves. Big news, eh? Huddy has pushed through plenty of things for not only the technological industry, but the gaming industry. He worked with one of my favorite games, Max Payne, and ended up with a starring role as the mad professor in the lab. From there, he has helped a tonne of huge games hit the market.
These include Harry Potter, Just Cause, Battlefield 2 and Burnout Paradise. He also was a big player in pushing HDR with AA into a bunch of games over the years. Why would Intel want Huddy? Well, they want their GPU business to fly. Intel's Haswell architecture, due in 2013, will reportedly establish Intel as some form of leader in the mass-market graphics space.
Intel would make some serious bank if they were to enter the console space, something that NVIDIA and AMD currently rule. Credit where credit is due - the original story: http://www.kitguru.net/components/graph ... to-follow/

Doesn't worry me any, I only use the intel graphics for extending the desktop and quick video transcodes anyhow. Now AMD just has to boot Baumann out on his arse and perhaps a little sanity will settle in at AMD graphics. Perhaps.
I guess FUDdy's grand fantasy of sticking it to his former employer nvidia, is now nothing more than a bitter fantasy.

What Irony? You think I bought SandyBridge for its graphics abilities? You are insane if you do. I bought it because it's the fastest mainstream CPU on the market.

What? Irony that Richard FUDdy now works for the company I buy CPU's off of? He was at AMD when I bought my Phenom II's as well you know. He's like a lingering bad smell. No matter what you try to rid yourself of the offensive object, it always seems to be lingering in the background, causing offense.... I'll repeat my edit above in case you missed it. Quote: I guess FUDdy's grand fantasy of sticking it to his former employer nvidia, is now nothing more than a bitter fantasy. He'll end up retiring a bitter and twisted old has been. Just what he deserves.

It's funny how he keeps guessing. Hehe. Don't tell him. See how long it takes him to figure it out!! Sorry Greg, this is just too good.

Sorry, but I don't have a clue what you and Mark are on about, and I could care less about FUDdy, no-one even knows his job description at intel yet -- he could be the basement janitor for all we know.

Kind of surprising that he was let go or decided to move forward somewhere else.

I think he was probably one of the first to feel the new CEO's boot. He's been very quiet for quite a while now, was just waiting to see where he'd land.
