I appreciate that. Perhaps one of you would even be so kind as to re-ship something up to Canada for me in the event that the store won't do it for me. You will be compensated for your efforts.

No good deals at NCIX.
I can still get a GTX 560 or a 6870 for $150.
I'm leaning toward the 6870 because my motherboard supports crossfire and not SLI.
I think I will get one of these $150 cards. I just can't justify spending $230 on the Ti 448.

With proper cooling people have been hitting 1000mhz and above on the GTX 460. I have an MSI Cyclone cooler on mine and it does a good job despite being loud under full load. Since when is overclocking "abuse"? I kept my voltages reasonable. I did not overvolt the card. I would never do that to a GPU. I've been barely using my card for months now and tons of other people are having the same issues as me. It's a defect in the cards. Yes, running a card many hundreds of mhz over its reference clocks and putting more voltage through it is normal practice and doesn't constitute abuse at all.............. The fact that the card fails under these condition is a clear indication the card is faulty. I know because other people who did the same as me had their cards fail too!

I'm now trying to price match a 6870 for $140.
I guess I could wait until Saturday, it's just I don't think the deals will get significantly better by then.
I want crossfire in the event that I could get another 6870 for $50 down the line.

The 660ti will be too rich for my blood.
It is a shame though. The new cards will surely cause better cards to become low end.

Of course, the moment you receive your card no matter what it is and no matter how long you wait, something a little better and a little cheaper will (almost) always go on sale.

Well 6870 will probably not be a major upgrade over your 460.I would get a 6950 or a 560 ti 448.

Well, the thing is the GTX 560 Ti 448 is 30% faster than a 6870 but it costs 50% more.
The GTX 560 and the 6870 are the best value right now.
Hopefully I'll catch a good deal on something. The newegg shell shockers are good and there's another store doing a sale this weekend...in fact there are two store where I live doing sales this weekend so I'll see what they have.
