http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/graphics/display/radeon-hd-7970-crossfirex_8.html#sect1No profile at all for Battlefield 3, even if you try to force it manually. No crossfire support with AA turned on in Crysis 2, plus *horrible* minimum FPS across the board. This is completely unacceptable IMO as these are not even new releases. I know adam the giant was going to get a pair of 7850s. I really hope it works out ok for him. This article has turned me off of ever getting a Crossfire setup.

GTX 560 Ti 448 if you want to go SLI, 7850 for single card, I wouldn't touch CF with a ten foot pole... I think I said something like that to you awhile ago

AMD's driver teams need a major uphaul. It seems they recruit the worst ones for their driver team.

Let's keep it in perspective - their PR and marketing is much worse.

People are suggesting that Xbit did something wrong. They could be right. I could swear I've seen reviews where they had Crossfire working in those games.

It's possible, it's hard to keep track of all of AMDs driver woes.
If the drivers are shitting all over themselves because of user allowed input values than it's still the fault of the drivers. The reviewer isn't doing it right, but the drivers are at fault none the less.
