Well guys today I finally installed the 680 in my system. It replaced Asus Gtx 580 DC II.Well despite 28nm fabrication advantages it is very hard to beat the DC II cooler,it was almost 5-6 degree cooler at idle. But the performance is there :D
Heaven Benchmark v2.5 Basic

Min FPS:35.3
Max FPS:155.7

interesting info. I haven't sat down and mined reviews for minimum fps data yet, but that is an area that always interests my when considering GPU's -- A sky high max fps tells me little except that the title should be able to cope with more IQ added on. I'm interested to see minimums in heavy games like the stalkers, metro, crysis etc.

Also interested in SSAO on/off in games compared to Fermi due to the lesser compute capabilities and SSAO being compute based in the drivers.

While your minimums in heaven did improve it wasn't a huge improvement.

No, I've looked into the reviews, and I don't think I'll be wasting my money on it. Maybe when I can get it as a buy one, get one "free" deal perhaps.

While it might be interesting, I wouldn't worry about it too much - I'd expect GTX 670 to still beat GTX 580 in everything including CUDA in Just Cause 2, demanding PhysX games, SSAO, and forced AO.
If it can still manage F@h just as well as GTX 580:

Then I'd expect all game-related compute capabilities to be just fine for the semi-Keplers.

Clearly Kepler is decent architecture for compute. Just not optimized for OpenCL like AMD cards and they suffer in comparison in the benches. Nvidia is basing T20 on the GTX 690; it is better than any Fermi for compute.

T20 is a Tesla card, exclusively for compute.
