Overall it was awesome. i really enjoyed the entire event even though it was an exhausting schedule. -- Nvidia has extraordinary employees working for them. It will be interesting to see them start posting on the forums and blogging (with transparency of course). i'd like to have Nvidia (and AMD and Intel) engineers/employees post here and be able to interact with our forum as members. Of course, they would only speak for themselves unless they were designated to speak for their separate companies officially. Shall i invite AMD, Intel, and Nvidia employees to post here? i am talking about some people that i know there. To go the other extreme from the other tech forums. We would know who we were talking to and i don't think the discussions would be any less polite. i am not talking about 100 people; i know a few from each company. What do you think? Am i sick? Jetlagged? forget it? ... maybe? It's weird. Nobody really knew that there was a change in Nvidia's social media policy. Upper management never really announced it.

That would be great, apoppin. I think it would be hard for them to discuss much without breaking NDA or confidentiality, though.

i don't thinks so at all. There is a lot to talk about without breaking NDA. Look how much i can share with you for example.
For example, if we had an engineer here .. or a CUDA programmer .. and maybe an OpenCL person .. it could get interesting and informative.

i agree it would be nice to have a place where you have such things. An open place where all is welcome. i am waiting to see employees with transparency posting anywhere other than their companies tech forum!!!.

How do we get them over here? Free beverages? Seriously, there has to be a hook. i am seriously asking for suggestions. i can ask but ... we need something to entice them away from their own comfortable forums into a brave new world. Maybe that they can represent their company proudly and clear up questions about their employer. A lot of people love their company and will talk about work because that is also what they love to do.

how bout we challenge them to actually walk the walk and not just talk the talk. They say they are for this and that but we dont see a soul proudly displaying their identity as an employer. lol let me think on it, or sleep on it and come up with somethings. perhaps we should say its a project, a new open forum for employees to join in with regular ppl who adore their products? We need to make a list of reasons. a list of the benefits. perhaps a couple of pitches.....then we could put together an outline and come up with an invite????? anyway, i am tired but i came up with some stuff. we for sure need to put our heads together!!!

i'll headline an article if necessary
"An Open Invitation to a New Kind of Forum"
If some of it gets too PR and marketing oriented, we can self-tune that out.
