I'm curious as to where these stand against past cards. I know it's rather low end, but I'd like to know where it stands against a 4850.

Thanks. This is the first that i am aware of it. It looks like an entry level card much like the GT 210, GT 430 and GT 520. It appears to just draw power from the PCIe slot. If you like, i can ask about it here. i also shot off a quick email inquiry to the EVGA rep. Anyway, i am heading back to the networking sessions. i may also attend the Nvidia party (although i don't feel like partying) . . . more like writing .. or sleeping

The EVGA rep replied very quickly. They are available now: Quote: It is not considered Kepler architecture.
610 is comparable to GT 520
620 is comparable to GT 430
630 is comparable to GT 440

DDR3 memory with 8gb of bandwidth. 48 cores /4 = 12 old style cores, so roughly GeForce 6800 GS performance. Exciting!

Unfortunately i missed what you originally wrote as i just got up also. Strong black tea first and then a hot shower for me and a bit of writing and then off to breakfast. Today is actually my heaviest schedule - it is filled between 9-6. - but not bad, i got 6 hours of continuous sleep.

Yes, Earl Grey is nice tea, so long as it is the Twinings variety, but I'll happily drink most brands except for Bushells.
