I'm not worried about it at all. I've managed to sell my old components for almost as much as I paid for them because I got them at such good prices.

Awesome! Are you going to use one of the resellers that examines and test the panel before shipping it to you? It might not be a bad idea for $15 more.

Also saw this one at Microcenter for $400. It's a little more expensive but its worth it for peace of mind.

Wow! Prices are coming down on these higher resolution displays. Wonderful. No longer a niche. i think gamers will migrate in droves if the prices dropped.

So what's next, 3840x2400 resolution?
:)

Apoppin is there a drastic difference between 1080p and 1440? I'm trying to figure out if upgrading my monitor and gpu will be worth the cost.

Yes I would like to know this as well, although I think apoppin only uses 1600p screens.

4K screens. They're around that resolution, yes. That will be the resolution to replace 1080p as the standard.

i do. However, are you talking a difference only in the heights 1440 vs. 1600?
- it would be much the same as 1920x1200 vs. 1920x1080.

It should be a serious upgrade over 1920x1080 or 1200.

If you can, head to a brick and mortar store and compare.

Yeah, it's close to twice as many pixels as 1080p. That means that your framerates will drop in half as well, though.

I will need Crossfire I think.
