With the 7950 hitting $290 lately the 7850 is bordering on the lines of irrelevant. Cost will not be a big issue with these GPUs as they are headed south of $200 faster than you can make your grandma breakfast.

The point is that whatever the HD 7850 2GB sells for in the market, the 1GB version will be about $35 less
