NVIDIA 301.42 WHQL's are available. Presumably they don't fix the V-Sync stutter issue some 600 users experience, the release notes don't say.

Link to win 7 64 bit driver below.

Thanks for that. It looks like an important release that improves performance in 400/500 series (they even fix 3D Vision in Heaven 3.0 benchmark :P )

To D/L the .pdf release notes
http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/3 ... -notes.pdf

i'll put together my new system today and tomorrow. i am not sure that i will get to these drivers in a timely fashion. i may use my old i7-920/x58 platform to do the benching - other than that, it will take me too long to do a performance analysis on a new Z77 MB.
From the highlights [quote>>>>>>>

NVIDIA FXAA Technology – shader-based anti-aliasing technology available from the NVIDIA Control Panel that enables ultra-fast anti-aliasing in hundreds of PC games. FXAA delivers similar quality to 4x multi-sample antialiasing (MSAA) but is up to 60% faster, enabling substantially higher performance in games. FXAA is supported on all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. Note: This feature is disabled for games that already have built-in support for FXAA. Visit GeForce.com to learn more.

NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync – dynamically enables vertical sync based on your current frame rates for the smoothest gaming experience. Adaptive VSync is supported on all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. Visit GeForce.com to learn more.

NVIDIA Frame Rate Target – dynamically adjusts frame rate to a user specified target. Support for this feature is enabled via third party applications via NVAPI. Visit GeForce.com to learn more.

NVIDIA Surround Technology – Adds the following new Surround capabilities.Visit GeForce.com to learn more.
Add in a fourth accessory display with GeForce GTX 600-series to get access to your email, web, or other applications while you game.

Yeah, they are good drivers. Have been running the beta's of them since release, glad to see GTX 670 officially supported since I suspect you'll have to prise these drivers out of my cold, dead hands to get me to change them. They work very well for Skyrim.

i didn't realize that you can actually hold video drivers with your hands, let alone require a pry bar to remove them from your grasp. :P

i have been running 301.24 and 301.33 betas. Of course, i am always glad to upgrade to the latest WHQLs.

As soon as i finish taking hundreds of pics and get a little more progress done on my GTC Wrap up, i'll move my i7-3770K to its new home in a full tower PC. i have a bit more testing to do with NH-DH14 before i put Ivy under water.

Then i am back to benching.

Oops, had a dyslexic moment, my current drivers are the 301.24 beta's. As I said they are very good, being very close to launch drivers. Ruby The DoubleCross demo renders (almost) properly with these (you still need 3DAnalyze though), 3DC seems to be working, where most other nvidia drivers disable it and Ruby is all polygon faced and flat texture shaded.

It will be interesting to see if the demo continues to render properly with 301.42

If you have a nvidia card, you ***HAVE*** to install these drivers, they are beyond awesome!

Renders ATi's Ruby the Double Cross demo correctly, along with 3DMark99Max, XLR8R, Aquamark & Gothic 1.

The speed and fluidity of the animation is amazing too, as well as texture clarity.

I didn't think I'd ever see performance on Gothic 1 fixed, let alone see Aquamark run to its proper potential again, but these drivers let it happen.

I'm quite gob-smacked, haven't tried anything new yet, whatever nvidia did in these drivers should have been done years back!

Forget 301.24, these are the drivers you'll have to try (and fail at) prising out of my cold dead hands! It's like I've already upgraded to GTX 670's ( except that won't happen until at least 1 June).

Fortunately we don't have to pry them out of anyone's hands
:)

i'm looking forward to benching them. i am still buried in pages of the GTC wrap up. ONCE that is out of the way, i will get back to my usual work.

71 fps in Crysis 1 Island GPU bench.

Everything set the same as last time I posted Crysis 1 results for SickBeast.

Frigging awesome.

I think apoppin needs to do a comprehensive retest of all his nvidia cards and post the results. Everything you think you know about them performance wise is now (very) wrong.
