gstanford at the end of the day your stupid benchmarks can be found on just about any hardware website. You're being a baby. This is apoppin's site and he allows the derails. I like it personally; I don't need mods all over me and I find the tangents interesting.

i missed this post.

i am sorry for your irritation. ALL threads are created to benefit others. Each one of us is rather proud of what we create. And mostly they DO get dragged off topic when the conversation about the topic stalls or hits a tangent.

My vision is to have threads move within threads - many co-tangential streams within one massive river - and that they identify themselves so posters don't waste time on off-topic if that is their goal - in other words, a user-customizable thread. However, that is future (unless you know how to implement it now).

A "serious topics" forum. Yes, when we have more members.

Now back on topic. You know, we could publish your charts on the main page. Not as a headline article, but as "gaming", "Blog", and "ABT News", perhaps. It would reach and benefit more people.

Come on guys, nobody really intends to derail your threads! 'Tis not the intention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you can always start another thread if you feel the need to avenge your own cause!

Apoppin is actually asking you if you'd like your benchmarks posted onto the main site - all the better!!! (beer2)

That would be good, a blog would be quite acceptable. It will end up being a very worthwhile article as you will see once I am finished all the benching I intend to perform.

i'm looking forward to it.

As a blog you don't have to "write" as for a formal review; it can be rather minimal if you choose. You are posting your comparisons and the charts really speak well for themselves, i think.

And there will be no derailing there whatsoever
:hello:

That's good, I doubt I can sit and write a big analysis anyhow. I'd rather just answer any questions as they arise.

Actually, no they can't. And especially "no they can't" once I've finished up.

i have to agree. It is a unique evaluation. Using many games. And i expect that bang for buck kind of gamers are considering this very upgrade - especially if they are coming from 1GB versions of the GTX 460. This evaluation is more unique as it is 2GB vs 2GB SLI at high resolution.

We can also use the conclusions from this thread to formulate a bit of a summary for the charts that ABT will publish

Actually, most of what is needed is already here

-- it should be easy to do. Good for me too. Maybe we can start something new here.

And by next week, our news feed to our affiliate tech sites should be restarted and functioning properly; so our traffic should go back to at least where it was; more now that we have more unique regular content.
