Got an email from Nvidia

Quote:
, 304.48 which boosts performance by up to 18% in Batman: Arkham City, Dragon Age II, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, and Battlefield 3.

Also included are a number of NVIDIA Control Panel game enhancements, adding MSAA support to Diablo III, L.A. Noire, Rayman Origins and The Secret World, and Ambient Occlusion support to Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Furthermore, we’ve fixed a performance bug introduced by the most recent Shogun 2: Total War patch, have fixed an intermittent VSync stuttering issue on GeForce 600-Series GPUs, and have fixed an issue where factory-overclocked GPUs occasionally downclocked themselves to unusually low speeds. Learn more and check out performance charts over at http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articl ... -released/ .

Please use these drivers for any GeForce product reviews moving forward.

i'll add Shogun 2 back to my benches. i have a 500GB HDD which is an exact image of my 240GB SSD - with some 'extra' games and benches
--- so there are 20+ games possible in my evaluations; up a bit from my current '17'

I wonder if the LA Noire MSAA support will finally allow MSAA in GTA IV? They are the same engine AFAIK. While on the subject of MSAA, I see no fix for the MSAA situation in Max Payne 3 in these drivers.

Well, i have 20 games right now on my HDDs. i can only fit 17 on my 240GB SSD, so it is pretty much a no-brainer to use the HDD for testing the 'extra' games.

On adding Lod adjustments for DirectX 10+ content with SSAA:

At this point, it looks like we will be implementing ability for LOD adjustments in the NVAPI so that 3rd party tools such as NVInspector can access it and make changes. We are still testing this so I can not provide any further details at this time
