http://epicbattleaxe.com/image-gallerie ... kham-city/The pictures are amazing.. textures are more high-def, characters have at least 2x more polygons (yet I don't think they're tessellated, but they could be..), plus Catwoman is now with Batman!! The last picture is my favorite one, with all of those clowns ruling the city (maybe that's why it's now named Arkham city instead of Gotham City). I wonder if it's still using the same UT3 engine with PhysX, or if it's using a new engine? The papers on the pavement look similar to the previous game, so I guess Physx will still be used (ugh  )!

What the heck is wrong with PhysX? - if you don't like the eyecandy vs. the performance hit .. please TURN IT OFF (silently please, without complaining to the rest of us who are enjoying it; some people think 3D is a joke .. to each his own) Physics in gaming is the future. What you see now is quite primitive compared to what we will be seeing in a couple of years. Mafia II is a console port. It looks the same on PC as it does on console with the exception of higher resolutions, higher AA and ... (yes,) PhysX (and 3D). i like that Nvidia spent time with the dev to differentiate it from the console version

Shhhh.. I silently complained about Physx in the other thread. Didn't want to turn it off in Mirror's Edge or Batman:AA, but it's because those games were designed to look so bland without fog and stuff like that, but it could've been done 90% as nicely on Havok (CPU's) with maybe 10% hit on frame rates rather than 60+% hit. And hey, 3D is like color vs. black-and-white! Admit it, it's the future! Ha!!!!!!!

UGH....... Halle Barry? Terrible Terrible....... Didn't that movie Tank and BOMB at the same time?  Hey I got $61. for my 8800, plus the $10.35 shipping. Might get 3 used games out of it. I'll be happy with 2.
