How do the graphics compare to Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3? Are there nice DX11 effects like tessellation?
Not as good. However, a magnitude better than Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The got the characters right; there appears to be good tessellation there. However, there is an issue with just slowing down to admire the graphics. Mostly you are looking all around you so as to not be shot.
The only issue is the checkpoints; bordering frustrating - not quite, but at the edge of challenging. You will clear 99% of an area and get caught at the end may 3 or 4 times and go right back to the beginning to start over. The cutscenes and the live action are fluid. Well done. It is very much like a film noir - an interactive movie. You just don't get a lot of time to explore. Atmosphere is 10/10.
