You're right about jiujitsu - Fedor's first real loss ever was due to submission to perhaps the world's best master at jujitsu!
I'm thinking that the fight with Cro Cop that I posted in the OP was actually handicapped because Fedor was fighting with a broken hand from a previous fight -- he didn't have much grappling power otherwise he would've made attempts at submission. See how his grip was very weak. IIRC, he had to get the hand "re-broken" by the doctor so that it'd heal the right way.
