ABT has become the place to discuss for video cards and graphics. i see a lot of good posters coming over from the other forums.

You can do the same thing for PR&N if you put your energy here instead of on the ATF Titanic. Pretty soon, AT P&N will be AI, the mods, and their butt kissers rearranging the deck chairs as their ship goes down.

Were a bunch of posters just banned over at ATF VC&G? .. it has grown suddenly dead.

I dunno.. haven't seen Will Robinson (the juvenile version of AMD troll) in action since.. was it because of me??

All I know is that 4 GTX 680 threads have been locked since, due to AMD smeagols chanting something like "Gollum.. Gollum"! It's obviously doing some serious damage. The quality of these threads are truly horrible to boot.

ATF VC&G is over run by trolls, it's become impossible to have a discussion without posters with agendas derailing the thread. There are so many shills infiltrating there forums the mods can't keep up with them and individual infractions doesn't change anything so they have to resort to locking down whole threads. It just so happens to be all nvidia threads which leads me to believe AMD marketing shills are hard at work.

ATF VC&G is a sinking ship and its just a matter of time before some of there more mature members realize there's a much better community out there like ABT where members just seem to get a long and infractions and thread lock downs rarely happen.

i mean seriously. You would think that Anandtech see this and how bad it is. Just about every nvidia thread on something as big as kepler has had to be locked. What an embarrassing thing. 64% of video card buyers are nvidia, but i guess Anandtech isnt a place for them to hang out. They are sitting back and watching the ship sink. They dont care i guess. They are catering to the minority. If that market shrinks further, then anandtech will only be a place for 20% or 10% of video card owners. Dont they see this?????

on any VC thread there its pretty sad. If someone post anything remotely pro nvidia then they get bomb to death by 15 to 20 posters. keys will try to step in just to try to speak a little sanity and the the army will start in. They cant see the 20 to 1 ratio of AMD solders on the attack?

There is nothing wrong with being pro AMD, but these pple will not allow a single thread have anything proNvidia stated. They will not stand for it. They purposely destroy the threads and team up propaganda and it is resulting in breaking and closing threads. I guess this is the goal, they get the last words and get the threads closed. There are just 3-5 people who are brave enough to post positively about nvidia. And they are demonized over there for doing it.

Bofox, i was impressed with your ability to keep a level head there. It was vey amasing to see you hold your own. You have got mad skills my friend. I hope to see more of that. Its a shame a person has to be jumped on by so many at once. I mean, there is seriously and obvoiusly some real issues that anandtech has to confront. They arent gonna stay very popular if things dont change. With all the multiple accounts, even their AMD army isnt all that big. And soon enough thats all that will be left

Their viral invasion is not working. They have been in full force and all the while AMD dgpu lost 4 percent market share in Q4. They have been doing this full force and loosing buyers, not gaining!!!! It is doing more harm than good. I fear AMD will not see this until its too late. Anandtech is not seeing this until its too late. I mean, geez!!! you cannot have a kepler thread at one of the biggest tech sites!!! you cannot talk about it there cause they have let the pollution get that bad. They should be removing post that destroy a topic thats important to at least 2/3rds of enthusiast. AMD has only 1 third of the graphics market. Thats about it!!!!! doesnt anadtech understand that their forums are alienating the majority?????? Why do they stand for it???

Its okay to be proAMD, they can have threads all they want. But anand allows them to trash anything and everything nvidia. This shouldnt be allowed. They silenced the nvidia kepler threads. They got what they wanted!!! but they dont understand, its not helping AMD, people are just getting sick of that kinda attitudes. people are getting sick of it and even people who were in the middle are swaying away from that AMD insanity. Its a bad image for AMD, and poor AMD cannot see this at all!!!

Clearly though after just a few days on that forum anyone would know that facts are the least of the mods concerns. I've never seen moderation so lopsided towards the AMD crowd, it's pure craziness over there. They run around ignoring facts, use opinions as fact, misrepresent information, talk without any actual proof to back up their claims, all the while calling people fanboy's and other weak tactics such as ignoring the point of a post to nitpick wording.

What really got me was their ability to rewrite history how they saw fit, ignoring facts that skewed their whole perception of what really happened. I thought he Furmark episode highlighted the hypocrisy and actually took advantage of a chance to call out MrK6 for the hypocrite that he is. As if being told I could no longer respond to him after calling him out for his fake benchmark results wasn't bad enough.

I don't expect mods to punish misinformation, however I don't expect them to punish the people who correct it like they did me. I also don't expect them to take sides and have no clue about thermal dynamics, like when I got banned for saying my 470's were doing a poor job of heating a room with 5C ambient temps running BF3 at 960 core. "You don't understand thermal dynamics!!!" said the mod, lol.. Banned!
