I didn't notice this post last night. What makes you think I've owned the x800 for 4 years, LOL? I picked it up mid 2007 very cheaply off of ebay.
It doesn’t really matter how many years you had it; your posts are still trolls and baiting.

Back then you were still telling anyone who would listen (or couldn't escape you) how superior ATi's drivers were compared to nvidia's, especially in your precious legacy games.
Yep, I stand behind those comments 100%.

I like older games as much as anyone, and play plenty of them fairly often. I certainly have never encountered the problems you have running them on nvidia hardware, but then, you always seem to have trouble where nvidia's concerned, don't you?
Heh, that’s pretty rich. 100 pages on the 6800 series stuttering/freezing:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthr ... 2759&pp=15This is but one of many multi-page posts. That’s the same issue you claimed never existed. After I dropped my X800 XL into
the same system everything was flawless, fast writes and all.
As for other bugs (e.g. G80 launch), almost all of them started getting fixed after I reported them, and some were even referred to in nVidia’s driver read-me. I could rattle off dozens of personal examples (e.g. Serious Sam sky corruption, abysmal performance in Jedi Academy with dynamic lighting, rendering artifacts in Halo and Painkiller), all later fixed in driver updates.
Here are some more:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=82074. In that thread Grestorn confirmed the issue with Jedi Academy, and several others confirmed the Halo corruption. I could also link to my own thread but I started editing it and removing bugs as they were removed, so it’s largely empty now.
You also denied the alt-tab issue, yet multi-page threads (e.g.
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=91118) confirmed it, along with nVidia’s driver readme when they fixed it. Here’s nVidia’s confirmation of a fix:
http://techreport.com/discussions.x/12877But then this is hardly surprising given you were running around claiming AA + HDR worked on your GF7 card while claiming the X1xx series didn’t support AA + HDR, when reality was the complete opposite.
Seriously, stop dredging this old sh!t up. You were wrong then and you’re still wrong now. It’s time to move on.
