hallo, hallo! Colonies calling! :hello: Flyby here. Glad to meet ya! I'm from Cincinnati, a slow-changing primarily Republican-party mid-western (USA) town. I'm an independent-minded guy that votes the best person. Never vote party lines.
My main interest at the moment is getting my gaming PC completed so I can get back into the swirling dogfights online. My favorite combat flight sim is IL2-1946. I use the Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS system with Elite rudder pedals. Currently I have the i7-920 CPU with DO stepping, thugh I'll only OC it to about 3.6ghz. Not much benefit in flight sims beyond that point.

I enjoy Jazz as my favorite music, and am partial to the bop side of the genre. But R&B is good as is classic rock, and classical music. Too bad I can't play a note, but I listen very well.

I drive an 02 WRX that I once modified for power, but since returned to to mostly stock (power levels). It has an interesting 11.5:1 custom steering rack which makes driving it a pleasure even in mundane situations.

I also enjoy a good book, mostly from the techno-thriller or recent historical combat type. One exception is "The Kybalion" That's sort of my personal expressway to the Almighty dear and fluffy. :amen:

OK enough about me. Who's serving coffee?
