Leap Wireless International, a San Diego-based wireless company has reportedly formed a committee of board members and is employing advisers to investigate the company’s options with regard to a possible merger or sale

Talks with AT&T Inc. and Verizon Wireless have yet to lead to a deal but the board-appointed three-person committee, which includes board members John H. Chapple, Ronald J. Kramer and William A. Roper, is being advised by Morgan Stanley and will continue to assess the company’s options.

Well that didn't last long.
