Last month, EA once announces that Crysis 2 PC multiplayer demo will be available on March 1st,and now EA and Crytek keep the promise to let out the demo as scheduled.

Crysis 2 demo includes two maps,they are "Skyline" and "Pier 17".Players will compete in six vs.six matches set against a war-torn Manhattan in two maps.

The demo also features two modes —— "Team Instant Action" pits two teams against each other as they kill as many opponents as possible to win the round and "Crash Site," where players will battle for control of alien drop pods,earning points by guarding their pods and keeping enemies at bay.

Crysis 2 was developed by Crytek and will be issued by EA.The gaming will land on PC/PS3/Xbox 360 officially on March 22nd.

I posted it even though its old news from yesterday.

I got a chance to play it a bit and its quite fun! :good:

What did you guys think about it?
Who is playing?
Wanna play together?

BTW: My GTX 460 (768MB) is able to run the demo @ 1920x1200 on Hardcore. :yahoo:
Disclaimer: I'm not sure but the demo might also be DX9 only. :scratch:

It is DX9 only and the settings were awful. Completely disappointed by the demo from the graphics-perspective. Yet still I think the MP is quite good although COD-ized.

I downloaded it, went into the game and noticed it was MP, then deleted it! (finger)

I find it a lot of fun. I'm enjoying it thoroughly. Its a nice stop gap until the full game later this month. :good:

I just don't like MP. Too many cheaters!! With all the implemented anti-cheat programs, the cheaters still thrive.

I remember doing it back in the day. It makes a game BORING as hell when you know you can win all the time.

?? I hope this isn't implied towards me. I said back in the day! King's Quest 7....... or was it 6? Heir today, gone tomorrow.(1993/1994 when I played)

Good game but damn, it was rough going.
