Neverwinter Nights 2 plus its expansions actually. The original campaign is a lot less buggy now and I've never played mask of the betrayer, storm of zehir and mysteries of westgate before. Planning on picking up Dungeon Siege 3 as soon as there is a decent special on it, so I expect to sink quite a few free hours into RPG gaming in the near future, with a little Assassins Creed or FPS side action on the side.

There isn't much texture flashing going on that wasn't happening before, and the graphics do look better compared to the old DX9 mode that I did most of my play through in (just tried the builtin benchmark and ran around my last save point a little so far on the new patch).

i don't think i can every play NWN2 again. i hated the bugs and i never forgave it. :P
- i did load it up and try to play it in S3D and it was surprising good-looking .. but the camera angles and some of the menu's rendering in 2D at the wrong depth was distracting.

i D/Led Dungeon Siege III on my "free" bandwidth day - but Steam has been screwing a lot of people up. After the D/L was "completed" there was NO DATA saved ANYWHERE. 4GB D/L time wasted and i almost didn't get Crysis 2 (i am at 97% of my bandwidth). i will be able to get DS III later on this week as my bandwidth rolls off; but i am definitely waiting until the Steam Sales ends

Yes, Crysis 2 is really a spectacular-looking game in DX11 - i think it now takes top honors for "best looking game to date"
:hello:

Are you getting good framerates at ultra at 2560x1600 with GTX 460 SLI?

I have not measured the frame rates with something like evga's precision (can do a fps display like fraps), but it seems pretty fluid just running around. will need to pay with grenades and rocket launchers etc to see how it holds up under heavy action.

The cameras are still the most annoying thing about NWN II. The person who designed them needs a good slapping. I much prefer a world view like Gothic gives you. Mind you 4x SGAA @ 2560x1600 looks really nice in game and is extremely playable (I do turn the shadows right down though, they are what cause most of the slowdown no matter what AA method you use).

Just do a F-11 and keep some action going for about 5 minutes. i replay the same section - usually starting at a checkpoint and then reload it to see if the results are similar; i do this every now and then on each level - then i compare to the official benchmark (which i do very last - after i finish playing the game)

i HATE the camera angles in NWN2; however, it was supposed to be "top down" RPG. :P

i finished Crysis 2 yesterday. It is like a ten-hour interactive movie
- the graphics are superb; the game story is OK but overall the game is just above-average imo

It crashed once in ten hours of play but i cannot adjust S3D settings satisfactorily; it is one out of two games in nearly 80 that actually make me queasy to play.

Maxed out Crysis in DX11 runs great on GTX 560 Ti SLi; i only set motion blur to low (because it looks unnatural to me; i'll bench it on ultra).
