Idon'tcare came up with one of the most brilliant replies to an unstable fanboy ... well, ever
IDC is one of the mods at AnandTech that I generally don't mind at all. He *was* more interesting before he became a mod. Not much has changed aside from the fact that he had to pwn me at one point, and he's getting dragged into a lot more nonsense now (plus he has the power to do something about it). You know what, though, I will accept the occasional bit of flak if what I'm doing is in the best interests of the forum. DrPizza is alright over there as well. There is a good handful of decent mods over there that simply seem to want the best for the community. The mods have actually gotten *better* in a lot of respects than they were some time ago.

The community is a lot smaller and the ones that are left have been browbeaten into submission so everything appears normal - they don't even notice the walls anymore There is very little interesting left there anymore. The topics are boring repetitions and Video is full of viral marketing and hateful crap. The members believe really stupid chimpanzee crap like a GTX 570 is somehow bottlenecked by an overclocked i5-2500K. There is a lot of deliberate misinformation there and their discussions have become irrelevant. i believe Intel's pricing generally will go up. That is the trend when the competition is weak. -- if you are looking to pay $600 for midrange CPUs, you can stupidly wish that AMD becomes irrelevant.

They should add some watercooling to that comic for improved flair. They probably did, and the explosion was the result. White hot metal plus sudden cooling makes for explosive results (massive sudden energy differential that has to go somewhere). You have no opinion. Please STOP your AMD hate. Turn the attitude OFF.

I did it. I technically construed it as spam, and not only that, I have quoted what you said for posterity. PWN3D /forums /thread /gstanford sickbeast > gstanford AMD > nVidia AMD > intel

Why was the post deleted? It was NOT spam, and despite quoting SickBeast it was not directed at him personally, but the water cooling comment.
