I would rather have a 21.5" screen with the full 1080P resolution so that I can use it as an HDTV as well. Thanks for the idea, though.

On Boxing Day there were 21.5" LCDs going for $90. I'm tempted to wait until they're that cheap again. My 17" screen isn't too bad, it's just old and I don't like that it's analog.

i think if you look for a good deal, you will still find one. LCDs are not getting any more expensive to make and there seems to be a lot of competition to sell them. i'll keep looking too.
