Wow, that means AMD is back to being cool with you as the world's best reviewer?

This is better than this:

Interesting. I would normally have preferred it to be Kepler, but I rather hear that AMD's partners are sending you cards, apoppin. Good luck with the review. :)

Thank-you.

It'll be good to get some benches going on the 7000 series; my first look at the Tahiti architecture and then hopefully, i will get all of the new releases.

i am working on the new GeForce drivers now; GTX 550 Ti is going to be included along with GTX 580 and 590. i am probably going to work with a short set of benches - maybe 20 total - for the driver performance analysis. i have got to update some of my benches this weekend.

Talk about out of practice. i got about halfway through my benches and something wasn't right. *Everything* was a small percentage better than the last driver set including older games and that cannot be.
(especially if new architecture isn't far off)

It appears that my driver setting got changed from High Quality to Quality

i'll be a little late with my analysis - probably Saturday, not tomorrow
:(

It is a HD 7770. It is not in yet; we only got the word yesterday. i'll say more when it is in hand. ABT should also get 7800 series if we continue to work with this vendor as we hope.

Actually, it is an interesting card to compare with similar cards in the 6000 series. It'll be my first in-depth look at mini-Tahiti performance.

As you might know by now, the main ABT site is down and hopefully we can catch up with our vacationing web master.

At any rate, we're still working on new articles and news for you in anticipation of it coming back up very soon.

i'm almost done with the benching for GTX 550 Ti/GTX 580/GTX 590 performance analysis of the latest WHQLs released this week. If the site is still down, i'll post the charts here tonight.

i also just got Serious Sam BFE to replace SE (2010) as a new bench for my (hopefully) expanded suite. It is a much more demanding game on hardware even though it is DX9 and it has some impressive visuals. Best of all, it is on sale on Steam for the weekend for $13.60.

i am also working on a BF3 bench, a new Crysis 2 bench and will replace L4D with L4D 2
- you'd almost think new hardware was coming soon
:)

sounds terrific. All except the site being down :(

Updated benchmarks! its very exciting. I love the scope of titles you cover. its a lot of data and its very very useful.

I still havent played BF3, does it have a built in benchmark? Speaking of this, do you have to buy all the games you benchmark? All of them or some of them?

Sad about the main site. Especially because i was just catching up. i still might be able to clear my backlog if it comes up soon.

BF3 has no built-in benchmark. It is easy to create one, however using Fraps. My own particular problem is that i don't have MP or access to it being on Satellite. So i'd have to bench max settings in SP.

Most of my benching suit i bought for myself. However it is changing with newer games. Some games like DiRT 3 came from AMD; others like Arkham City came from the publisher, and still others like Trine 2 came from Nvidia. Usually it is a Steam Key. i got Alice: Madness Returns from EA with Physical copy; same with HAWX 2 from Ubisoft.
