You are expected to pay $600 and be grateful! Nvidia had the decency to pay GTX280 owners rebates when 4870 came out. Will AMD do the same when GTX 680 hits?
There are always lessons to be learned from studying history. It can reveal a pattern of behaviour, amongst other things.

There are always lessons to be learned from studying history. It can reveal a pattern of behaviour, amongst other things. Maybe a lot of DiRT 3 coupons to give away. And of course, their viral shills will defend anything their company does and somehow Nvidia will get the blame for AMD's premiums and pricing-collapse. For myself, i only look at AMD Graphics history and won't go back to the ATi days. However, AMD's viral marketing since then has established a pattern to the point of being able to predict it accurately.

Well, i am done benching the Sapphire 7770 overclocked-to-the-max edition.
And i am about to start benching for the mystery card evaluation. In a few minutes, actually.
However, *while* i am benching, i am going to be writing my Sapphire HD 7770 evaluation; i was hoping to have it done by tomorrow but it doesn't look like it. Does anyone want a sneak peak at the performance charts?

ABT was unable to publish for about three weeks and our traffic suffered while the main site was mostly down. The good thing that came of it, our forum traffic almost doubled during that time. Right now i am really backed up. i am actually writing this Sapphire HD 7990 GHz OC edition review right now (and now no one has to read it ) - i am also writing my Thermaltake Frio/FrioOCK CPU cooler review and Mario has two Genius product evaluations also ready to go up that i have to edit. To top ALL of that off ... i am benching for the mystery card evaluation due pretty soon However, it's better than being out of things to do -- if i survive with my health intact
