i'm done with benching. Started Mon PM and benched T, W, Th, Fri, Sat and done Sunday PM  Now i got to write about it  i better get some sleep i got a long day or so ahead of me

Anyone care to hear my impressions of the HD 7970. i gave it a pretty thorough evaluation vs the GTX 580, the GTX 590, the HD 6970, and the HD 6990 i guess i could even post my performance charts here if anyone is interested .. 21 games and 3 synthetics

You know i was kind of sweet on Tahiti, i kinda had a melt down when a 448 Ti deal feel on me from the sky. I was feeling lonesome knowing i probably passed my getting on. But you know, i got a hella deal and this card is fantastic! So about the 7970.........you impressions?

Well it is a very powerful card and definitely faster overall than a GTX 580. My own PowerColor HD 7970 is quiet and it runs overclocks to 1100MHz/1400MHz on stock fan profile and voltage. If you were in the market *today* for the fastest single-GPU card, the HD 7970 would be the logical choice; however, if i were in the market for a card and i could wait a bit, i definitely would - to see what Nvidia brings with Kepler. i guess the next thing is the performance charts - you probably want to see those? Shall i make a new thread or post it here?
