I didn't mind Risen. It was a little bland, but good. I'll definitely get Risen II just to support PB. Yeah, PB have the rights back to Gothic now, thank god. JoWood didn't have a clue what to do with the series, as the games they had a license to get produced proved.

Yeah for the expansion "ArcaniA: Fall of Setarrif" they even dropped the Gothic name,did become too much of a burden i guess

No honestly not.I shared the deal for collectors mostly I played Arcania Gothic 4 and it can't be any further from Gothic series.Though still Arcania Gothic 4 has the best weather effects i have ever seen in a game.

When i looked yesterday, some of them were available separately for pretty cheap.

Arcania is a simplistic little RPG, that runs poorly. There is some minor entertainment to be derived from it (mostly laughing at the game devs and the things they put into the game) if you steadfastly ignore that it has anything whatsoever to do with Gothic. I got the expansion recently (picked up the game and expansion "for free" at EB-Games while purchasing other titles), but haven't played it. Haven't been able to force myself to replay the first installment either.

The last i heard JoWood is probably bankrupt.

JoWood has been bankrupt for a good while now, must be getting close to a year. Good Riddance.
