I had the choice of taking the Asrock motherboard I have now, without PCI-e 3 support or waiting several days for stock of the same board but with PCI-e3 support built on, like yours. I chose to get take the non PCI-e one. I've been building computers way too long to take claims of future compatibility very seriously particularly when the part concerned has no control over said compatibility.

i bought my MB to review my Core i3-2105; it was the cheapest and most full-featured MB at the time that i could find. i'll probably sell it if i get a series 7 MB
