ironic about premium pricing, isn't it. Don't say we didn't warn AMD that they were heading down a Premium Pricing Path with Pitfalls they built for themselves (and caught their fans on)


AMD won't reimburse the early adopters of the overpriced HD 7970/7950. They don't have the courtesy as "aggressors" to even offer the 3 game d/l. In contrast, Nvidia refunded the GTX 280 early adopters when they dropped the price after the HD 4870 came out.

The saddest thing is that we predicted this scenario accurately. Who at AMD bungled this launch? He probably got a promotion
- AMD clearly fired the wrong people and they are floundering as badly against Nvidia as they have been against Intel. All they have left is their unethical "advertising" on the tech forums to try to spin the situation and blame it on Nvidia when it is their own greed and short-sightedness that got them in this difficult situation. Their analysis of the market sucks.

TT would have to cut a deal with them like AMD did with us when we blew the HD 5970 launch wide open with exclusive leaked pictures and details (and afteerward, AMD's Jay Marsden changed his mind and never followed up with a HD 5970 as he promised us as part of our deal to remove a single image)


i would never cut a deal like that again.
