A person who probably hates their job and who also has no ethics works for one of Nvidia's partners.
Sadly this is very common now days and why Nvidia has to have such strict security even with their partners.

There was rumored to be a store selling the gtx 670 last week. That's probably how they got one.

Here is one thing that i will say. Intel works with over 350 tech sites to get them review samples. The number that AMD and Nvidia work with is smaller but it is still very difficult for sites to get equal treatment. Sometimes you will feel very slighted when you are passed over.
i know one other editor of a major tech site based outside the USA and he has the same problems - but for this editor, AMD and Nvidia are both difficult for him to work with and they are often left out of major launches.
i would say it all comes down to communication. We had our own issues with Nvidia because someone was lying about us to them - when we were able to bypass this individual, it was easy to state our case and repair the damages. However, when basically the same thing happened with AMD (over much the same issue), we could only reach the head of their PR - not far enough up the chain of command obviously.
i am very sorry to see these issues. Charlie evidently had his own issues with Nvidia years ago and he continues to this day as an Nvidia hater. I agree it could be frustrating dealing with multi billion dollar corporations but if tweaktown ever wants to repair there relationship with Nvidia they cant keep posting early reviews of unreleased products. Which is exactly what they are saying there going to do.

Tweaktown says they got theirs from one of Nvidia's partners. They are looking for Nvidia's "attention" and also big page hits. If we posted this kind of unique leaked article on ABT, our servers would crash from the traffic. However, we really don't care about traffic and we value our word above all else.

My point is even thou you voiced your frustration about AMD I don't remember you ever posting early reviews of unreased products.
It says to me one site would like to fix there broken relationship (ABT) and the other site doesn't really care to (tweaktown).

It says to me one site would like to fix there broken relationship (ABT) and the other site doesn't really care to (tweaktown). He did some "previews" of unreleased cards based on information he managed to gather. The two situations are extremely similar IMO.

One preview on December 20th without a HD 7970 But very accurate http://alienbabeltech.com/main/?p=27982Quote: The two situations are extremely similar IMO. Not even close. ABT was cut of because i complained about AMD's viral shills infesting VC&G AMD actually told me that it was OK for me to have posted the preview. They apologized for not getting me a HD 7970; that they were in chaos due to staff getting (fired). AMD even met with me at CES in January and gave me their press deck - then they cut me off the next week when i brought up the fact that their shills/company employees were posting on ATF. They told me that they even saw the posts in question where i had engaged their shills.

Why do they care if you post messages to their employees at Anandtech? WTF? How were you even supposed to know who they were or who they worked for?
AMD has some messed up people working for them. Whoever cut you off over that BS is seriously messed up.

Obviously they don't want that cozy little situation over at ATF disturbed. i figured out who i was talking to at VC&G because they are so stupidly obvious. Idontcare confirmed that AMD employees post there. One of the stealth shills even posted information from AMD the instant i would get it from AMD PR. When i called their Edelman rep on it, they did not deny anything; rather he admitted - "we saw the posts, we don't care"
The really bad thing is that AMD's top PR evidently agrees with the shills. Chris Hook has not even bothered to respond to my evidence as he promised - and it has been over two weeks. AMD PR is seriously screwed up from to bottom. They have proven that they are not ethical as far as i can see.

Blastingcap seems to be full of AMD PR information.
