In case anyone forgot. http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2225753How many everyday tech forum members would run countless benchmarks and post the results on every tech forum know to man? NONE! Why would anyone go through the hassle?

It is the second thread that was posted there after the first one got locked. And the same ones attacking ABT are defending the indefensible in that thread. AMD stealth at work.
Just look at the logic of this:
AMD encourages their employees to use social media including posting on the tech sites
Yet in the history of tech forums, only ONE AMD employee has ever identified themselves in their sig -JFAMD
And next week, we will get clarification on Nvidia's own social media policy -- according to one of their PR guys, nothing has changed regarding the tech sites; their employees are not free to post at all - and the directive may be intended for twitter or Facebook. Clarification will be forthcoming.

Is that real? OR fan made? OMG I would be so embarrassed to have any part in creating anything like that. And I wonder if Chuck Norris will sue, because he was basically called Not Cool Any Longer like he used to be. Not only that, but it mocks Tolkien and Star Trek fans as opposed to trying to win them over as intended. Brain dead marketing department and brain dead exec's who signed off on it. Just wow.

Yeah $400 is about right for the 7970 and it would probably sell quite well at that price.
