Terry Makedon - Long before there was Facebook or Twitter there were only forums on websites to interact with other enthusiasts. 10 years ago Eric and I used to post like mad on the Rage3D forums, but we never met. He was working at ATI's Silicon Valley office and I was working in the Toronto office. We both spent countless hours on those forums reading every single post that was put up there. Ahh the good ole days!

We got a public admission. i wonder if they identified themselves as AMD employees. i know that Terry used to post at HardOCP specifically to answer questions about AMD and he was the "CatalystMaker".

We know that intense forum reading and posting is definitely in AMD's "genetics". Strange that not one AMD employee currently identifies himself although there are AMD employees "hiding" at ATF as regular posters according to the ATF administrator.

He and Digital Wanderer and Baumann used to stir up trouble at NV News too. It's how Baumann first came to my attention.

Did they identify themselves as "not speaking for AMD" ?

i don't remember anyone other than JFAMD posting at ATF that was proud enough of his company to disclose his work affiliation.

Not that I can recall. Of course Baumann would strenously deny having anything to do with ATi, right up until the point where moved him to America to work directly under them. We all know the truth of the matter though, just like we know the truth about partial precision and shader replacement.
